<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water system capable of maintaining at all times the proper cleanliness of hot water to be supplied, while taking the maintainability of the hot water system into consideration. <P>SOLUTION: The hot water system has electrodes 11, 13 positioned in the bottom of of a hot water tank while isolated from the hot water tank 1. A voltage application means is provided for applying a voltage between the hot water tank, at least the lower interior wall of which is made of metal, and the electrodes, with the electrode side of the voltage being positive. The system has between the electrodes and the hot water tank a control means for controlling the voltage application means according to a history of water temperatures in the bottom of the hot water tank and controlling a period of time (t) during which a voltage electrolyzing city water to generate hypochlorous acid and a period of time T during which a voltage less than this electrolyzing voltage is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
