PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat transfer performance of a heat exchanger comprising a core tube provided with a projection on its inner face formed by pressing its outer face, and a winding tube wound on the outer face of the core tube, and to provide a manufacturing method of the heat exchanger of high heat transfer performance. SOLUTION: In this heat exchanger, the projection 313 is formed on the inner face of the core tube 31 by pressing its outer face, and the winding tube 32 is spirally wound on an outer periphery of the core tube 31. Then the core tube 31 and the winding tube 32 are inflected as a whole and brazed. As a result, an outer face of the winding tube 32 and the outer face of the core tube 31 are kept into contact with each other with no space on a part at an inflection center b side of an inflected portion, and the outer face of the winding tube 32 and the outer face of the core tube 31 are connected by a brazing filler metal 33 on the part at the inflection center b side of the inflected portion C-C.
