<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic image coder for simultaneously recording a plurality of dynamic images. <P>SOLUTION: The dynamic image coder is capable of recording programs of one or more selected channels by simultaneously executing compression coding processes using a dynamic image coding system, for example, MPEG-2 system. This dynamic image coder comprises an antenna 100, a tuner 101, a synchronous signal generator 102, a recording channel controller 103, a multichannel encoder 104, a recorder 105, monitor 106, a speaker 107, a GUI 108, and a total controller 109.
