PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a matter that inclination cannot be detected quantitatively and only presence of inclination can be judged by inclination inspection of an image sensor in the manufacturing process of a digital camera and since the fixing position of the image sensor cannot be adjusted finely, the manufacturing process must be modified from the start. SOLUTION: The device for measuring the inclination of an image sensor detects inclination of the image sensor quantitatively using the peak value of a contrast characteristic curve by the image data of a chart imaged a plurality of times by the image sensor 1 to which a measuring chart 4 moving along the direction of optical path of a taking lens is secured.
