PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide white toner particles which are suitable for use in an electrophotographic printer, an electrostatic recording printer, etc., achieve white color development, give white color presentation retentivity to printing or photographic printing, and can also give superior transferability. SOLUTION: The white toner particles contain white pigment, antioxidant and binder, wherein the white pigment is contained at a lower concentration in peripheral portions of the particles than in interior portions of the particles or is not contained in the peripheral portions, and the antioxidant is contained at a lower concentration in the interior portions of the particles than in the peripheral portions of the particles, or is not contained in the interior portions.
