PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a possible method of effective measures suppressing sarcocarp injury occurrence of peach fruits, and the like. SOLUTION: The sarcocarp injury occurrence-suppressing agent for peach fruits comprises (E)-2-[2-(2-aminoethoxy)vinyl]glycine or (E)-L-2-[2-(2-aminoethoxy)vinyl]glycine, or agriculturally permissible salt thereof as an active ingredient, and the sarcocarp injury occurrence-suppressing method comprises applying an effective amount of (E)-2-[2-(2-aminoethoxy)vinyl]glycine or (E)-L-2-[2-(2-aminoethoxy)vinyl]glycine, or agriculturally permissible salt thereof, to aboveground parts of a peach tree.
