A method for designing a hull using a TID(Tribon Initial Design) macro is provided to change width of a hull side by using the TID macro while keeping a stem and stern shape of a present hull, and quickly change the hull through modification of the present hull using the TID macro. The present hull is stored(501). A boundary curve of the new hull is generated on the basis of the changed width of the present hull(503). The modified hull is generated by using the generated boundary curve(505). The hull is changed on the basis of the modified hull(507). The TID macro changes the width of the hull by using a side tangent line.
