<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the distance from own vehicle to an object existing in an imaged image. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 103 loaded on a vehicle detects a tracking domain from imaged images in a plurality of frames imaged by a camera 101, calculates a changing rate between frames of edge intensity of the detected tracking domain, and calculates the distance from own vehicle to an object existing in the tracking domain based on the calculated edge intensity changing rate of the tracking domain. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
