<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disable the specification of constitutes such as a personal face in an image while processing the image naturally. <P>SOLUTION: A parameter acquiring section 32 acquires a weighting parameter C0 representing personal characteristics in a facial portion P0F by adapting a facial portion P0f in the image P0 detected by a face detecting section 31 to a mathematical model M generated by the AAM method from a plurality of sample images with represented facial portions of a plurality of persons.
