<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing that can be used with no seizure for a certain time even in dry-run conditions by reliably retaining lubricating oil while preventing seizure on a cage guide face. <P>SOLUTION: On an inner diameter face 4b of an outer ring 4 as an inward cage guide face out of the opposed outward and inward cage guide faces, a plurality of annular grooves 6 are formed as oil grooves for retaining lubricating oil. The opening width of each annular groove 6 is set to be 1 mm to prevent the lubricating oil retained by the annular groove 6 from flowing out by the centrifugal force of the rotation of the bearing and to prevent the lubricating oil from flowing out by the surface tension of the lubricating oil at the narrow opening width even if each annular groove 6 is turned downward. Thus, the lubricating oil is reliably retained by each annular groove 6 to prevent seizure on the cage guide face, resulting in use with no seizure for a certain time even in the dry-run conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
