RULING AND GROOVING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ruling and grooving machine capable of forming a slot to the end part on a rule in a state that the rule and the center in the width direction of the slot coincide with each other with respect to a corrugated cardboard sheet.

SOLUTION: The ruling and grooving machine is provided with an upper feed screw mechanism 10 for independently moving an upper movable frame 6 by the rotation of a screw shaft 11 and a lower feed screw mechanism 14 for independently moving a lower movable frame 7 by the rotation of a screw shaft 15. A synchronizing mechanism for synchronously rotating the screw shafts 11 and 15 is provided between the end parts of the screw shafts 11 and 15. A pair of ruling rolls 51 and 52 for forming the rule are supported by the movable frames 6 and 7, and a pair of rotary blades 71 and 72 for forming the slot are supported on the downstream sides of the ruling rolls 51 and 52 while a pair of the movable frames 6 and 7 are moved by the same quantity in the same direction at the same time by the synchronous rotation of the screw shafts 11 and 15, and the ruling rolls 51 and 52 and the rotary blades 71 and 72 are positionally adjusted in a state that the relative positional relation of them is kept constant to prevent the shift of the center in the width direction of the slot with respect to the rule.
