<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for collecting momordicin at high purity from Momordica charantia. <P>SOLUTION: The method for collecting momordicin comprises soaking Momordica charantia with ethanol to produce a Momordica charantia extract, adjusting the extract to be acidic, leaving the extract to stand under refrigeration, separating it into a supernatant and a precipitate, and removing the precipitate.
