<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system capable of suitably printing contents on a network with a high degree of freedom of operation. <P>SOLUTION: The print system comprises a printer which is connected to the network and has a network communication function of sending and receiving various data through the network, a network communication function of sending and receiving various data to and from the printer through the network, a server device providing content information for other terminal devices through the network, and a terminal device transmitting a print request to the printer through the network. The terminal device sends the print request together with included identification information on the content information to be provided by the server device, and the printer once receiving the print request from the terminal device acquires the corresponding content information from the server device according to the identification information included in the print request, and records and outputs the contents of the content information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
