<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exchange capable of distributing a data amount to each line even when data are concentratingly inputted to one line. <P>SOLUTION: The exchange is provided with header decoder (#1-#n)11-1 to 11-n which executes the decoding of the data inputted to a physical line at an input interface, memories (#1-#n)13-1 to 13-n for accumulating the data for each physical line, a memory control unit 14 for controlling the reading and writing of the data to the memories (#1-#n)13-1 to 13-n, and a distribution switch 15 for distributing the data read out from the memories (#1-#n)13-1 to 13-n to each line.
