<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp usable for a conventional lighting system and easily connected to a socket of a luminaire. <P>SOLUTION: This fluorescent lamp 10 is provided with a pin direction varying means for varying the directions of pins 12 connected to the socket 13 of the luminaire in a base 11. The pin direction varying means comprises holes formed in the base 11 and a pin holding member sliding by being fitted to the holes. The pin holding member may be provided with an insertion guide engaging with the socket of the luminaire. The pin direction varying means may comprise covered lead wires led out from the base and a plug connected to ends of the lead wires. The fluorescent lamp is usable for a conventional lighting system and easily connected to the socket of the lighting system. The fluorescent lamp can be mounted without distinction of the vertical direction thereof. Thereby, efficiency and safety of replacement work of the fluorescent lamp in a large-scale building such as a condominium building is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
