<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer film suitable for backseamed casings for packaging meat products such as liver sausages, bologna sausages, mortadella or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The multilayer film is a heat-shrinkable film comprising (A) a first outer layer 56 containing a polyamide having a melting point of approximately 250-400°F, (B) a second outer layer 58 containing polyamide having the melting point of approximately 250-480°F, and (C) an inner layer 62 containing at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyester and a polyamide.
