<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake device for rolling stock capable of making maintenance or improvement of compactness of the device itself compatible with an increase of brake performance in a high level. <P>SOLUTION: This disc brake device 1 is provided with two caliper levers 6 mounted with each of brake heads 7 mounted with brake pads to hold and pressurize wheels (discs) D and an actuator 14 provided with a movable rod 15 to be driven in at least of either one of an advancing direction or a saving direction. The device 1 is provided with a rotary transmission arm 16 pivotally connected to the movable rod 15 and an extension shaft 10 engaged to the rotary transmission arm 16. By this constitution, the advancing operation of the movable rod 15 is converted into an elongating operation of the extension shaft 10 via the rotary transmission arm 16, and the force is increased to be transmitted to the caliper levers 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
