<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely obtain a mold having necessary hardness in a method for making the piled upper/lower molds having no flask with which two sets of the upper/lower molding spaces are demarcated with one pair of the upper/lower flasks having sand blowing holes in the side walls, respectively, match plate and upper/lower squeezing means, and molding sand is blown into the molding space under vertical state and thereafter, a molding apparatus for the upper/lower molds having no flask constituted so as to take out the mold from the horizontal state in the molding space, is used. <P>SOLUTION: This molding method contains; a process, in which after filling up the molding sand by blowing into the molding space from the sand blowing hole; the upper/lower squeezing means are retreated at a desired distance to widen the molding space; and a process, in which after filling up the molding sand by again blowing into the widened molding space from the sand blowing hole, the molding sand in the molding space is squeezed by advancing the upper/lower squeezing means, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
