PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast transmission/reception system, its transmission apparatus and reception apparatus in which reproduction can be omitted or prevented from being performed at a receiving side by setting, from a transmitting side, reproduction operation at the receiving side in a time zone of CM or the like. SOLUTION: There are provided a transmission apparatus comprising a specific information data creating means and a reception apparatus comprising a data storage and reproduction means 221, a reproduction time storage means, a reproduction determination means 224 for determining whether specific information is to be reproduced or reproduction stop is to be performed from a specific information reproduction time field obtained in a specific information data analysis means 225 and the number of times of specific information reproduction performance stored in the reproduction time storage means, a reproduction control means 222 receiving an output from the reproduction determination means 224 to control video/audio reproduction, and a reproduction performance time updating means. By setting the specific information reproduction time field in the transmission apparatus, specific information, namely, CM information can be surely reproduced or the reproduction can be surely stopped in the reception apparatus.
