PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line lighting system in which quantity of light in a main scanning direction is uniform. SOLUTION: Hollow parts 23 where locking pawls formed in an inner face of a case 10 are formed on one side face 20c among side faces of a bar-shaped light guide material 20. A face for reflecting light advancing in the bar-shaped light guide material 20 in the face with the hollow parts 23 formed is a curved face 23a. By forming the curved reflecting face 23a in this way, even about light made incident on the curved face 23a at a fixed angle, only slight deviation of an angle greatly changes a reflection direction. Consequently, reflected light from the curved face 23 is scattered to uniformize quantity of light in the main scanning direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
