PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which initial liquid-proof performance is maintained for a long term by preventing generation of cracks and breaks to an adhesive for fixing lead wires to a shell. SOLUTION: The connector is provided with a shell 2 of nearly cylindrical shape, an insulator 30 fixed in the shell 2, a contact 31 supported by the insulator 30, lead wires 32 which are inserted into the shell 2 and connected to the contact 31, and an adhesive 40 which is filled in the shell 2 and fixes the lead wires 32, contact 31, and insulator 30 to the shell 2, and a cushion material 35 is installed in the shell 2 so as to surround the lead wires 32. The cushion material 35 is formed of a material having a hardness smaller than that of the adhesive 40 in solidified state. Since expansion and shrinkage deformation of the adhesive 40 can be cushioned by the cushion material 35, generation of cracks and breaks to the adhesive 40 can be prevented.
