PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscope device that makes a trigger electrode less likely to cause connection failure even if the trigger electrode is subject to excessive stress and deformed when a reflecting shade is fitted to a frame body. SOLUTION: The stroboscope device includes at least: the frame body 2 having an opening 1 at the front; the reflecting shade 3 made of a metal material, which is fitted in the opening 1 of the frame body 2 from front; a flash discharge tube 4 of a straight tubular shape, which is inserted in the reflecting shade 3; and the trigger electrode 5 connected to the external face of the reflecting shade 3 and having a flat plate 24. The frame body 2 has a pair of support parts 8, 8 disposed with a predetermined amount of space left between them so as to accommodate part of the reflecting shade 3 fitted in the opening 1. The flat plate 24 of the trigger electrode 5 is disposed across a distance between the pair of support parts 8, 8 and elastically deformed by the abutting of part of the reflecting shade 3 thereon. In the stroboscope device, both bent parts 25, 25 at both ends formed by the elastic deformation of the flat plate part 24 of the trigger electrode 5 abut on the reflecting shade by a pressing force exerted in the direction of abutting on the reflecting shade.
