PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic material having satisfactory electric properties after surface treatment, to provide a surface-treated metallic material in which corrosion resistance and electric conductivity are made consistent, to provide a production method for realizing easier and more stable industrial production, and to provide a metallic product using the surface-treated metallic material. SOLUTION: When the surface of a metallic material is provided with a surface film having a volume resistivity of≥10<SP>-2</SP>Ωcm and an adhesion thickness of 0.5 to 30μm, and metal is thereafter precipitated by substitute precipitation or electrolytic precipitation, the metallic material comprises the precipitated parts of the metal with a major axis of≥0.5μm by≥100 places in the range of 10 mm×10 mm.
