PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress step friction without sacrificing high-speed durability and driveability in a pneumatic tire for a passenger vehicle or for racing having so called fold belt structure where belt structure is composed of a first belt ply disposing an organic fiber cord and a second belt ply disposing the organic fiber cord or a steel cord, and the first belt ply is composed of a fold part. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire is provided with a belt reinforcing layer 3 composed of the organic fiber cord having 0 inclination angle with respect to a tire equatorial plane on the outside in the radial direction of the fold part 1b respectively. When the inclination angle of the main body part of the first belt ply is set to beθ<SB>1</SB>, the inclination angle of the second belt ply isθ<SB>2</SB>, and the inclination angle of the fold part of the first belt ply isθ<SB>f</SB>as for the inclination angle of the cord with respect to the tire equatorial plane E, the pneumatic tire is constituted so as to satisfy any of the formulas (I) to (III).
