A defogging system of a vehicle is provided to prevent unnecessary power consumption by estimating the time when fog is generated. A defogging system of a vehicle includes a surface temperature sensor(11), a humidity sensor(12), a peripheral temperature sensor(13), and a control unit(10). The surface temperature sensor detects the surface temperature of a window of the vehicle. The humidity sensor detects the humidity around a windshield. The peripheral temperature sensor detects the temperature around the window. The control unit compares a dew point temperature and the surface temperature and controls the defogging system by determining whether fog is generated.
