摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assign a plurality of channels even with the same code with channel identifiability. <P>SOLUTION: This optical pulse time spreading device has a plurality of optical pulse time spreaders which output optical pulses to be inputted to each as a string of chip pulses sequentially arranged by time spreading on a time axis according to an optical phase code, respectively. Each of the optical pulse time spreaders has a phase control means for providing phase difference between the adjacent chip pulses. The channel identifiability is exercised by differentiating phase difference conditions to be provided between the adjacent chip pulses by every phase control means by introducing identification parameters. The phase control means has structure that, for example, SSFBG 60 is fixed in a core 64 of an optical fiber 66. Unit FBGs are serially arranged in the SSFBG along the waveguide direction of the core.
