<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide palm oils having suppressed heat discoloration and to provide a method for producing the palm oils. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the palm oils having the suppressed discoloration during heating comprises carrying out a distillation treatment before a decoloring treatment and thereby reducing fatty acids and β carotenes.
