<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a conductive roller and a coating device for a conductive roller by which a surface layer of a conductive roller can be formed by spraying a solvent-free coating material or a coating material having a small amount of solvent so as to eliminate or simplify a drying process, and to provide a conductive roller formed by the above manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a conductive roller includes the step of spraying a coating material to form a surface layer 4 and the step of increasing the temperature of a compressed gas which atomizes the coating material so as to control the viscosity of the coating material to 1 to 1,000 mPa S. The coating device 10 for a conductive roller is equipped with a spray gun 11 to spray a coating material, a gas reservoir to store a compressed gas, a gas supply pipe to supply the compressed gas from the gas reservoir to the spray gun, and a gas heating device to increase temperature of at least one of the gas stored in the gas reservoir and the gas passing the gas supply pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
