摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new catalyst which is the catalyst where a promoter is supported on a carrier and thereafter Ru is supported, wherein the catalyst can be used under the condition of high space velocity (GHSV) of 10,000 h<SP>-1</SP>or above as the carrier has a monolithic structure, and to provide its production method. <P>SOLUTION: The production method of the catalyst consists of a step for impregnating a solution of a promoter compound in the carrier and a step for thereafter impregnating a solution of a Ru compound in the carrier, and the carrier has the monolithic structure, wherein the monolithic structure consisting of a honeycomb structure, the monolithic structure consisting of a cordierite, Ru<SB>3</SB>(CO)<SB>12</SB>or Ru(acac)<SB>3</SB>as the Ru compound, a supporting amount of Ru in the range of 0.4-10 mass% to the carrier, cesium hydroxide as the promoter compound, the supporting amount of Cs in the range of 1-11 mass% to the carrier, and the mole ratio of the Cs supporting amount to the Ru supporting amount in the range of 0.3-4.2 can be used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
