PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase shifter capable of phase adjustment with the simplified and miniaturized, entire structure and light weight, and further with small insertion loss capable of passing through large power. SOLUTION: The phase shifter includes a waveguide for transmitting electromagnetic waves; and a plurality of stabs disposed sequentially with respect to the waveguide in an axial direction of a transmission line of the waveguide and inserted, at its one end, into the waveguide. A phase of an electromagnetic wave propagating in the waveguide is controlled by inserting the plurality of the stabs into the waveguide by the same insertion length. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
