<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy compound excellent in workability, because the epoxy compound does not cause coagulation at a low temperature and providing the cured product excellent in flexibility at a low temperature and having rubber elasticity. <P>SOLUTION: The epoxy compound is composed of a neopentylene oxide structural unit represented by a structural unit N of the formula: -CH<SB>2</SB>-C(-CH<SB>3</SB>)<SB>2</SB>-CH<SB>2</SB>O- and a tetramethylene oxide structural unit represented by a structural unit T of the formula: -CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>O-.
