<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of greatly improving the design property without impairing the game property. <P>SOLUTION: This game machine is provided with: a game board 5 composed of a plate material having permeability and a prescribed thickness and formed with a game area in its front side; a performance display device 115 having a display screen in the front face; ornaments (a police box ornament 140 and a food stall ornament 141) disposed between the game board 5 and the performance display device 115 and modeled on the shapes of structures with window parts; a lottery means, when being detected that a game medium enters a starting hole, drawing a prescribed lottery based thereon; an advantageous game state producing means, when the lottery result is a prescribed result, producing an advantageous game state advantageous for a player; and a performance display control means determining a performance including a prescribed character and a background based on the lottery result and displaying the performance on the performance display device 115.
