PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection part for a position sensor to reduce the effect of an induced voltage, an impedance change, etc. owing to a use environment, and to provide a position sensor using the same. SOLUTION: This detection part 1 for a position sensor is equipped with: a detection coil L; a coil bobbin 3 around which the detection coil L is wound; a core 2 retractably provided in the detection coil L and relatively displaced toward the detection coil L in the direction of its center axis (winding axis); a shield member 4 for magnetic shielding to cover the peripheral surface of the detection coil L; and a case 5 for storing therein the coil bobbin 3 around which the detection coil L is wound, the core 2, and the shield member 4. The shield member 4 comprises an inner shell part 4a fitted to the coil bobbin 3 and an outer shell part 4b for covering the peripheral surface of the shell part 4a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
