PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain gutter catchment basin constructible on a horizontal plane and a vertical plane by one kind without using a separate member; and to also provide the rain gutter catchment basin capable of adjusting a distance of a drain cylinder part of the rain gutter catchment basin from the vertical plane when constructed on the vertical plane. SOLUTION: This rain gutter catchment basin 1 forms an eaves soffit fixing piece 4 projecting outward in the horizontal direction in an upper edge part of an inflow opening part 3 of the rain gutter catchment basin 1 for forming the inflow opening part 3 on an upper surface by forming the drain cylinder part 2 in a bottom part. The rain gutter catchment basin 1 forms a fixing leg 7 projecting outward in the horizontal direction in an upper edge part of a wall fixing surface 6 of the catchment basin 1, and is characterized by forming a plurality of rib pieces 8 at an interval in parallel to the wall fixing surface 6 in the fixing leg 7, and forming the fixing leg 7 with a horizontal directional outside just front part of the rib pieces 8 as a freely cutting part.
