PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescent element which emits light in high brightness and in high efficiency and has excellent durability. SOLUTION: This electroluminescent element having a light-emitting layer or organic compound thin layers containing a light-emitting layer between a pair of electrodes is characterized in that at least one layer contains a polymer amino compound represented by the general formula (I) [Ar1and Ar3are each independently an arylene group which may have one or more substituents, or Ar1and Ar3may be bonded to each other through a bonding group; Ar2and Ar4are each independently an aryl group or heterocyclic group which may have one or more substituents; (l) is an integer of 0 to 2; (m) is an integer of 0 to 2, excluding a case that (l) and (m) are simultaneously not 0; (n) is a natural number].
