PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant polycarbonate resin film exhibiting excellent flame-retardance without using conventional flame-retardants containing halogens and phosphorus, etc., free from the problems of the generation of halogen-containing gases in combustion, extremely excellent from the viewpoint of environmental compatibility, and suitable for the use as various flame-retardant electrical insulation materials to attain extremely high industrial utility. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant polycarbonate resin film is produced by forming a composition composed of 100 pts.wt. of a resin component composed of (A) 75-99.5 wt.% polycarbonate resin and (B) 0.5-25 wt.% terpene resin, (C) 0.02-2.5 pts.wt. of an organic metal salt compound, (D) 0.005-2.5 pts.wt. of a silicone compound having a branched main chain and containing an organic functional group consisting of aromatic group or aromatic group and hydrocarbon group (excluding aromatic group), (E) 0-2.5 pts.wt. of a fiber-forming fluorine-containing polymer and (F) 0-55 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler.
