PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding implement having good operating performance without unnecessary force applied to an operation lever. SOLUTION: The binding implement includes a binding member 70 having a pressing section 76 which presses and holds a bound object X on a base member 22, an operation member 60 which operates the pressing section in a state locking the bound object on the base member 22 and in a state releasing the locking state, and a spring member 50 which is fitted to the base member 22, coupled to the operation member 60 and also to the binding member 70 and urges the bound object X in a direction pressing the bound object X. The spring member 50 has a winding part 50a fitted to the base member 22, a first end part 50c extending from the winding part 50a to the binding member 70 side, and a second end part 50b extending from the winding part 50a to the operation member 60 side. The first end part 50c on which external force is not acted and the second end part 50b on which external force is not acted are formed, in a manner extending externally in a direction each separating and spreading as the end parts go from the wing part 50a to their tip ends, the second end part 50b being fixed substantially in parallel with the moving direction for locking the operation member 60.
