PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated cemented carbide broach capable of maintaining the accuracy of the broach for a long period of time by optimizing cemented carbide applied to the broach. SOLUTION: In an assembly type coated cemented carbide broach using a shell, the cemented carbide used for the shell contains WC with a mean particle diameter 1.2μm or less, has a coercive force of not less than 20 kA/m and less than 40 kA/m, and, provided that the saturation magnetization value is defined as R and the value of 202×Co wt.%/100 as S, has such a saturation magnetization ratio R/S as to satisfy the relation: 0.65≤R/S≤0.95.
