PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plant guard fence for surrounding plants such as trees and easily and surely fixing to the ground, having a boundary part with the ground in a close construction to be excellent in prevention of intrusion of harmful insects, and having effect of surely preventing insect damage by installation work as easy as possible. SOLUTION: This insect damage preventing plant guard fence is obtained by using many bar-like fence materials 1 made by arranging gathered reeds in a constant length through mixing with bar-like pile materials 2 made of round bar-like steels having a length longer than the bar-like fence material and almost the same diameter, making the edges of the two kinds of bar-like materials even followed by placing the edges with the bottom up, projecting the upper parts of the bar-like pile materials 2 arranged at almost the same intervals to above the many bar-like fence materials 1, and making up with cord-like materials 3 in a blind-like form. The guard fence can be set up only by driving into the ground the edges of the bar-like pile materials which are unitedly plaited with the bar-like fence materials with the cord-like materials and fixed in a slidable manner.
