A ribbon for garland using letters printed fabric by heat transfer printing method and manufacturing method thereof is provided to express more contents by printed letters, to reduce working time for setting the ribbon on a garland, and to give fine appearance to a garland. The ribbon for garland using letters printed fabric by heat transfer printing method comprises: a main ribbon(1a) having printed letters by heat transfer printing method and a lateral ribbon(1b) attached to the main ribbon by heat adhesion. The manufacturing method of letter printed ribbon for garland includes; preparing roll type heat transfer paper where patterns are printed with high pressure disperse dye; inserting heat transfer paper and ribbon into heating and compressing roller; heating and pressing the heat transfer paper and ribbon at 200-220 deg.C, for 20-80 seconds; and transferring patterns of roll transfer paper onto the roll ribbon.
