A mobile communication terminal with an exchanging function of user management information and a communication method using the terminal are provided to apply standard item codes so as to identify items of the user management information between terminals, thus the user management information can be exchanged while the information is classified by an item for systematic management. A user management information storage(111) stores/manages user management information. A standard item code extractor(114) extracts standard item codes for identifying items of the user management information. A transmission data generator(115) generates data which includes contents of the items when the user management information is transmitted. A user management information reception checker(121) checks whether the user management information is received. If so, a standard item code/item content extractor(120) extracts the standard item codes and the contents of the items. A display(118) displays menu information for sending/receiving the user management information. A controller(124) controls so that the stored user management information can be transmitted after being generated as transmission data, or controls so that the checked user management information can be stored(111).
