<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device additionally excellent in security upon keeping editing operation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 60 as the image forming device is equipped with a PC/IF 68 receiving data (variable data) output from a host computer 40, a CPU 61, a RAM 62, a ROM 63, a printing engine 65, an operating panel 66, a CF reader 67 or others and is electrically connected with a CF in which immobile data are recorded as shown in Fig. 5. In printer 60 the immobile data and the variable data are combined, however, the combination is first done when the following two condition are both satisfied.
