<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an apparatus for measuring propagation delay characteristics with a simple method in a mobile communication system for performing data communication within a comparatively narrow range. <P>SOLUTION: A demodulation output is input to a correlation detector and a correlation with a predetermined spreading code is detected. A resultant correlation output is input to a clock reproducing circuit, and a bit clock is reproduced. The correlation output is sampled with the bit clock, and synchronism detection is performed in a synchronism detection circuit by collation with a SYNC pattern. The correlation output is input to an absolute value computing circuit, and a correlation absolute value computing an absolute value is output. The correlation absolute value is input to a shift register and shifted by a clock faster than a speed of the spreading code. As an inter-stage output of the shift register, an output corresponding to a bit clock term interval is output and input to an adder circuit and an addition output is obtained. The synchronism detection output is input to a control circuit and each time synchronism detection is performed, the control circuit processes propagation delay characteristic data resulting from the addition output and displays the data on a display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
