<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience by enabling to transfer once recorded media content to an external apparatus and record the transferred content. <P>SOLUTION: A DVD/HDD recorder 7 receives the media content by a built-in tuner to record the received content in a DVD recording medium or a built-in HDD, and converts the content into a reproducible data by an external portable terminal to record the converted content into an external recording medium 8. Upon receiving a connection request from a cellular phone 9 via an in-home LAN, the DVD/HDD recorder 7 acquires the unique information (IP address or MAC address) of the cellular phone 9 and verifies whether or not the cellular phone has been previously registered as an external device permitted to reproduce the content, and when it has been registered, the recorder 7 transfers the media content to a recording medium of the cellular phone 9 to store the media content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
