PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor capable of simplifying the prior registration processing of a set item required in the case of a data transfer and a selective processing in the case of the practice of the data transfer. SOLUTION: A system control unit 102 preserves the history of a set content (a set information) used through a set-information control unit 103 at a time when data are transferred between a recording medium 1(106) and the recording medium 2(107), while reading the preserved set information and being able to use the set information for setting the data transfer after the next time.
