PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation equipment in which a light emitted from a lamp is led to an irradiation object through a light transfer means in which optical components fitted on a light source such as an optical filter which houses the lamp, an optical mask, a light diffusion plate, or lens etc. are made possible to be exchanged without dismantling the light source in a simple way and in a short time, and to provide a method of exchanging the optical components. SOLUTION: A fixing method of the light transfer means 300 to the light source has a structure in which, after the optical component housing part 200 which houses the light filter 20 beforehand is inserted into a supporting part 8, a light-entering edge material 32 of the light transfer means 300 is inserted into the above optical component housing part 200 and is fixed by a fixing cover 33.
