PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array substrate wherein electrostatic destruction can be sufficiently suppressed and inspection in a manufacturing process can be easily performed. SOLUTION: A plurality of cells 11 provided on a substrate main body 10 are arranged in a matrix shape. A short ring 12 is provided around the cells 11 and between adjacent cells 11. The short ring 12 and the cells 11 are electrically connected to each other. After preparation, the substrate main body is cut and divided into every cell 11. A TFT element is provided at a part in the vicinity of an intersection part of a source signal line and a gate signal line formed in each cell 11.
