PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic strapping packaging machine capable of strapping crosswise at a linear conveying line without arranging the conveying lines at a right angle when the crosswise strapping packaging operation is carried out at the conveying line. SOLUTION: A belt guiding arch 26 is vertically provided while being displaced at a rear side or a front side of an upper table 24 and at the same time a first center bar 30 that can be tilted is provided below a horizontal arch portion 26c of the belt guiding arch 26 and the belt pulled back from the belt guide arch 26 into the main body 20 of the packaging machine is received at the first center bar 30 and dropped down.
