PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology of manufacturing a high-reliability display device, at low cost and with high yield. SOLUTION: The display device has a semiconductor layer including a one conductive type impurity region of a, a gate insulating layer on the semiconductor layer, a gate electrode layer, a wiring layer contacting the one conductive type impurity region, a conductive layer disposed on the gate insulating layer and contacting the wiring layer, a first electrode layer contacting the conductive layer, and an electroluminescence layer and a second electrode layer on the first electrode layer and the wiring layer is electrically connected to the first electrode layer via the conductive layer.
