PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for forming a metal product having an integrated projecting part at a low load, and a forming device for forming the same. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the metal product 1 having the integrated projecting part 5 comprises a step of preparing a material 2 for forming the metal product having a flat plate part 2c, and a projecting part forming step of press-fitting a part of a flat plate part forming material into the recess 14 for forming the projecting part by pressing a projecting part formation-scheduled part 2e of the flat plate part 2c of the forming material 2 and its peripheral part 2f from both sides 2a, 2b, pressing at least one face 2a by a pressing face holding member 11 having a recess 14 for forming the projecting part, and applying the tensile stress to the projecting part forming scheduled part 2e and its peripheral part 2f.
